Nike React now plays a key role in the Metcon 7 FlyEase’s midsole. Whether it´s for intense cardio routines or cranking up your burpees, the Oregonians’ #1 quality foam improves cushioning and responsiveness in every move. The rubber outsole’s new herringbone pattern delivers unstoppable traction from asphalt to concrete, while the rugged grip of the midfoot vertical strip helps you climb the ropes with ease.
Where the Metcon 7’s upper design seemed conservative, the Metcon 7 FlyEase aims to break the mold. The FlyEase lacing system is the culprit feature, giving you a strong, snug fit just by pulling and fastening a Velcro strap. A thin, highly breathable Engineered mesh receives heat-sealed reinforcements for durability and consistency. A vertical heel clip enhances stability.

The Nike Metcon 7 FlyEase refines stability and durability to stand up to the push and pull of serious strength training.
Lightweight, responsive cushioning dials up the comfort during multipurpose workouts that include lifting, high-intensity intervals—even sprints and short runs.
The training shoe has a collapsible heel that lets you step in without using your hands then it snaps back up to secure your foot.
More stable than the Metcon 6, this version updates a flat, wide base with a plate that distributes pressure beneath the heel to keep you feeling firmly planted while you lift.
This edition shifts to lightweight, responsive Nike React foam cushioning, bringing comfort and spring to your step as you move from weights to high-intensity cardio sets to runs without missing a beat.
Made with FlyEase technology, the shoe´s flexible heel collapses when you step in then snaps back into place.
There are laces, but you only have to tie them once.
The revamped rubber wrap extends to the top of the medial side for excellent grip when you´re doing rope climbs.
Rubber tread gives you traction from the training room floor to the asphalt.
Lightweight mesh with textured overlays in high-wear areas helps keep your foot cool without sacrificing durability.
Handstand clip at the heel minimizes drag during wall exercises.
Flywire cables integrate with the laces to secure your midfoot.

The shoe has a good fit, very firm, it is not comfortable for WOD's with a lot of running, but for the other functions it adapts well, I thought it has little grip for climbing a rope, but it is worth the investment, it arrived in 15 consecutive days in the Brazil

Perfect for the general workout. Top for squats, deadlifts, military press and general workouts. For box jumps, etc., I would prefer the normal Metcon 7s, as they have a better grip on the heel.

Metcon 7's are simply the best all round trainer for crossfit. I've tried Nano's and No Bulls and whilst no bulls are slightly more comfortable, they just don't have the stability of the Metcons. My only gripe with the flyease version is that when doing some exercises such as sled push, they tend to pop off at the heel. Also just beware that initially they aren't the most comfortable and require some breaking in, however after a week or so they become really comfortable whilst maintaining rigidity and stability.

I use a 40 in Spain and I bought a 42 and it suits me well. If you are a Brazilian size maybe you should even choose EU44.
