The HRM unit looks sturdy, the seal fits tight on the battery cover. Pairing is flawless and super easy, no problem via ANT+ and BT to phone (many apps), and head unit. Its strap feels and fits for me better than Garmin's. A plus for the color options, everyone can have their style over the basic black ones. 5 stars from me. Only small downside could be the CR2025 battery, but in my area even the small stores have it so no problem for me.

I have a drawer full of Garmin RUN HRM chest straps that have failed after 1-2 battery replacements over time. Most frustrating and a big waste of money. Decided to try the Polar H10 Heart Rate Sensor this time around. Might not give the full range of metrics that the Garmin HRM provides, but the ones that it is missing are of limited value to me so not missed. The product is robust, battery has lasted well so far, and it is comfortable to wear - even for all day skiing. Happy to recommend unreservedly.

Fits well, very accurate. Easy to connect with Garmin devices. I do prefer the front clip locking mechanism that the Wahoo Tickr has compared to this one, which locks on the side of the strap.

I bought a sensor to replace the old h7. Works in tandem with v800. Pros: - Data starts to arrive on the watch a little faster. - At the end of the strap, they finally added a clasp instead of a hook, as it was on the h7 model - The strap itself holds a little better - The kit already comes with a battery))) Cons: I haven’t found it yet .. I have been using Polar heart rate monitors for many years. There are no complaints about the work. Happy as an elephant.

Yes, the strap is stretchable and it should be fine for you. Besides, you don´t wear it exactly on the chest but *below* the chest where the width is smaller.
