Nike’s Metcon series won its honor in the mixed shoes niche for its high quality and consistency. Although the Metcon 4 had already made a huge impact on their 2017 launch, the Oregon brand decided to address professional trainers and runners’ concerns with a vastly improved model: the Metcon 5.
These crosssfit shoes slippers have been designed with a paramount objective: to become your secret weapon for all types of training.
Much has been said about the great influence that the new Nike Hyperlift sockliner has on the Metcon 5’s performance, and how it combines perfectly with a wider heel to provide a more ample platform for weightlifting and exercises where stability is of paramount importance. This new sockliner is removable and compatible with all previous versions of Metcon, offering greater stability and cushioning thanks to its thickness and density (8 mm for men, 6 mm for women).
This feature would not do much of a difference if the Metcon 5’s outsole was not up to the challenge. But the American brand has implemented a double density design - softer on the front, firmer on the heel - which, in combination with a new wedge pattern, translates into superior traction in both wood and urban terrain. This technology, which Nike calls directional traction, extends to the shoe’s sides to provide greater grip on ropes and bars.

Very good quality of the shoes. The template is high which helps you a lot to those who tend to lift the heel. But the color is Violet and I get a number less than what I had asked for. But luckily they fit me well and I got used to the color.
