It has separate waterproof compartments, stowed shoulder straps, and a back pad.

I have loved how big and how easy things are and how good they look x the ease of being able to open it. Transporting it is a pleasure because of how easy it is to carry it like a backpack. It fits everything. A great success, really. If you are looking for a backpack to be able to transport shoes, food, dry clothes, etc. This is without a doubt.
